Study in Europe

Why Should You Study in Europe?

Europe is home to a growing number of top 100 universities in the world, according to international rankings. A prime attraction for international students is the scholarship programs offered by the European Union (EU). Europe is culturally diverse, offering different languages and traditions to explore. Furthermore, the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) ensures that European countries offer English-taught Bachelor's and Master's degree programs that are recognized worldwide.

European countries like Germany and the Netherlands have some of the best education systems, offering a wide range of subjects, skill sets, and areas of expertise. The teaching methods and curriculums offered in European universities are advanced, making it easier for Nepali students to achieve their academic and career goals. Moreover, there are ample employment opportunities after completing higher studies in Europe, supported by favorable post-study work visa policies in several countries.

What Is The Cost of Living and Tuition in Europe?

The cost of living in Europe varies widely between countries and even cities. Some of the most expensive countries are Switzerland, Norway, France, Belgium, and Sweden. For instance, in cities like Paris or Geneva, living expenses can range from €600 to €1,200 per month. On the other hand, countries like Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia are relatively cheaper, with student accommodations ranging from €90 to €300 per month.

Tuition fees for non-EU/EEA students are generally higher compared to EU/EEA students. Many public universities charge little to no tuition for students from the European region, while non-EU/EEA students may face higher tuition fees, particularly in private universities. Here is a general range of tuition fees for non-EU/EEA students across Europe:

Bachelor's degree: €5,000 to €42,500 per year
Master's degree: €3,000 to €56,000 per year

At Eden Academy, we can help you prepare for a range of scholarships that the EU offers to attract international students like you. To understand more about living and tuition expenses in Europe, contact us to help you shortlist the countries and universities.

Test Requirements

Studying in Europe offers a rich cultural experience along with academic achievements. However, there are specific test requirements for admission to European institutions. Nepali students must take an English language test like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or CAE to meet the language proficiency standards of the institutions they are applying to.

Moreover, demonstrating academic strengths is crucial, especially for EU scholarships. Universities may require standardized tests like GRE, GMAT, or SAT based on the program. At Eden, we provide guidance and preparation for these tests to help you meet the standard requirements in Europe.
