Just like the SAT, ACT is another type of college entrance examination to assess a high school student’s abilities for college. Here, the ACT refers to American College Testing. Millions of students who aspire to study undergraduate level in the United States or Canada take the ACT or the SAT or both.
Here, the ACT exam, which is offered about 5 times a year in Nepal, is administered by the ACT, Inc., a non-profit organization.
The ACT has 4 main sections: English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science. Likewise, another section of the ACT is Writing, but it is optional. If you take the ACT without Writing, then the test will be about 2 hours and 55 minutes. So, if you take the ACT with Writing, you can expect the test duration to be about 3 hours and 3 minutes.
Talking about how the American College Testing (ACT) exam is scored, each of the four sections will be scored on a range of 1-36. Then, your final ACT exam score will be an average of all 4 sections, on a scale of 1 to 36.
