Here, the ACT exam, which is offered about 5 times a year in Nepal, is administered by the ACT, Inc., a non-profit organization.

How are ACT scores calculated?

 

The ACT has 4 main sections: English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science. Likewise, another section of the ACT is Writing, but it is optional. If you take the ACT without Writing, then the test will be about 2 hours and 55 minutes. So, if you take the ACT with Writing, you can expect the test duration to be about 3 hours and 3 minutes.

 

Talking about how the American College Testing (ACT) exam is scored, each of the four sections will be scored on a range of 1-36. Then, your final ACT exam score will be an average of all 4 sections, on a scale of 1 to 36.

A significant difference between the ACT and SAT is that ACT also evaluates your knowledge of science. Furthermore, the score scales of these 2 tests are different. On the one hand, the ACT score scale is from 1-36, as mentioned above, and the SAT score scale is from 400-1600.
